I've been working with VoIP and IP networks and solutions since 2000. I have a Masters Degree in Computer Science and I've been following the development of the IETF SIP protocol since my Master Thesis that covered some aspects of QoS issues and the potential impact on IP telephony. I've been working in long term customer partnerships with service provider and enterprise SIP based IP telephony systems, including military fixed and tactical as well as large fixed and mobile carrier grade commercial VoIP networks and solutions. VoIP security, Internet infrastructure and services as well as IPv4/IPv6 migration are areas of special interest as well as SIP architectures and troubleshooting. I've also been working with network design with focus on designing and building robust and redundant IP and VoIP communication, both for service provider and enterprise customers. I'm a big fan of open source software and open standards. I run systems on Linux and Mac whenever possible.
