I've also rewritten a custom infrastructure scanner from the ground up to boost the performance.The system was written in Node.js and used PostgreSQL as the main database.

I was responsible for writing in-house solutions for monitoring. Few worth mentioning:• Distributed monitoring system working as a proxy before Zabbix. It was used to discover servers/services in the company's data center, gather performance data, compress it and push to Zabbix. That way we were able to get 150k+ new values per second without overloading Zabbix or its DB.• PostgreSQL monitoring. The app was used to collect data on complex/resource-heavy queries, long locks, etc. from hundreds of Postgres instances in real-time.
