I am a member of the global legal team of the eBay Classifieds Group (eCG), a subsidiary of eBay with its HQ in Amsterdam. I am the legal advisor to the Advertising Center of Excellence which is accountable for global advertising revenues across all of eCG's properties and brands (Gumtree, Kijiji, Marktplaats, 2dehands.be, dba.dk) and am responsible for negotiating complex ad-tech agreements with our strategic global partners and ensuring a seamless integration across our brands.

I counsel clients on complex technology transactions, including the drafting and negotiation of software licensing and SaaS agreements, and advising on the implementation of such agreements. In addition, I advise clients on data and privacy matters, including the creation and implementation of CCPA and GDPR compliance programs. I also counsel clients on complex ad-tech, mar-tech and data use issues, including supporting one client in the building of an ad-tech platform.

As the second attorney to join MediaMath, I had the fortunate opportunity to help build both a talented team of attorneys, and the legal foundation to support the rapid growth of one of the fastest growing and exciting companies in the ad-tech space. I partnered across different business teams on the many different facets of our business, including corporate transactions (acquisitions, debt financing, equity raises, strategic alliances), client commercial contracts, product advisory and general privacy compliance. I also serve as the global lead counsel advising the partnerships, data acquisitions, media buying, products and analytics/reporting teams on all commercial matters (including 3rd party tech licensing and product roll-outs) and manage the company's IP portfolio and advise on the IP strategy.

I represented agents, lenders, borrowers and equity sponsors in complex financial transactions including multi-tranche, first-lien/second-lien credit facilities, cash-flow loans, asset-based loans, senior and subordinated debt transactions and acquisition financings. I also worked on a wide range of M&A transactions (public and private, strategic and financial sponsor) including mergers of entire companies, acquisitions of divisions and wholly-owned subsidiaries, divestitures, joint ventures, management buyouts and leveraged buyouts.
