As the SDM, I am responsible for the oversight of the Software, Database, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams in BlueGrace Technology. As part of my role, I structured the team in to multiple feature teams that work independently, but collaborate among common applications.I have been able to leverage all of my experiences that I've developed over the years, and use them to structure the strongest team possible, hiring top talent, and placing like-minded individuals together, increasing cohesiveness among team-members, which ultimately helps drive performance.I work directly with our Product Design & Strategy team to help with the technology roadmap, and ensure that proper LOE and timelines are adhered to. I was tasked with revamping our entire SDLC process, which has proven to be very successful, resulting in 5-10+ deploys daily, and creating a strong feedback loop from the business. While I still actively participate in contributing to the development and code reviews of certain products, my focus in this role has been to ensure people are in the proper positions, and that being a part of BlueGrace Technology is a genuinely great place to work.

Was responsible for designing highly scalable, distributed systems to support the growth of our company and TMS by leveraging over a decade of experience building and designing systems, paired with a deep expertise of cloud architecture (primarily Azure)Helped lead pivotal projects that would later transform our technology landscape. As a Sr. DevOps engineer, I was responsible for transforming our ability to ship code fast, with a quick and efficient feedback loop, and to also help empower our development team to reduce cycle and lead time as well. Implemented zero downtime deployments by leveraging Azure Kubernetes Service, while also enabling the scaling needed to better serve our customers- Introduced YAML pipelines to our CI/CD process- Leveraged ARM Templates and Terraform to start our journey towards IaC adoption- Create pipelines that handled automatic semantic versioning for internal NuGet & npm packages- Helped migrate all existing IaaS services to Azure PaaS services, which greatly simplified our need for ops- Implemented telemetry and logging around all of our core services to provide us with better metrics on service health, and also to assist us in troubleshooting/triage efforts.- Went from doing deploys every few weeks, to multiple production deploys daily, for multiple apps

- Responsible for the release cycle of our flagship application, BlueShip.BlueShip is a SaaS application that provides end-users with the best rates in the industry to move their freight. It can help companies manage their entire supply-chain in one centralized location.As a release manager, I facilitate the code merging across multiple branches, and test/development environments, adhering to best-practice SDLC guidelines. BlueGrace Logistics heavily utilizes Microsoft Azure to run all of our websites, webjobs, and services on. The release manager is also responsible for the creation and maintenance of the different Azure related components. This includes having a good understand of the Azure Resource Manager and utilizing things such as Azure Resource Manager Templates.Under this position, I also administer our Visual Studio Team Services (TFS) environment. This includes undertaking initiatives such as automated builds and releases to better streamline our DevOps process.
