M i n i s t r y L i f e1974 - Present Eight years of training served as preparation for fulfilling a five-fold ministry role: One year of intense Bible training at a Bible Training Center, two years of Wycliffe Bible Translators training, four years as Bible translators in Papua New Guinea, and one year developing a Missions Department for a ministry based in the USA. At the end of 1981 we were directed to found Word International as a ministry vehicle to take us to the nations. In the first decade of this phase of ministry, the Lord opened doors to more than 30 nations in which we conducted one to six week seminars to more than 5,000 National Christian Leaders working as full-time ministers. These doors also included ministering to Heads of State. Supernatural manifestations flowed like water: Blind eyes opened, deaf ears heard, growths disappeared, and many, many were healed. Every door that opened and all of the supernatural manifestations were easily visible as the sovereign doing of Almighty God! However, there were obstacles: Ministering behind the Iron Curtain (...before it fell...), in active war zones, crashed in a single engine aircraft in a jungle setting, stranded at sea in an ocean going outrigger canoe, and physically assaulted for the ministry of the word's sake. In the mid-90's things began to change. We began overseeing a local assembly and traveling less and less. After all the years of training and the intensity of the first phase of ministry, the local assembly phase was perhaps the most challenging of all. At the end of 2012 Stan resigned all roles in the local assembly and entered the next phase of ministry, traveling, providing input for individuals called to the five-fold ministry, writing and publishing books: Revising five previously written books and writing five new books.
