Director, Scientific Affairs for bioMerieux Industry. 80% of time focused on U.S. and 20% on global. Primariy responsibilies are to raise the profile of bioMerieux in the food, government and scientific communities, and to serve as a liason between these industries and bioMerieux research and development. Serve on the scientific advisory board of the National Center for Food Safety and the Food Safety Council of the United Fresh Produce Associaton and as bioMerieux's representative to the Food Microbiology Committee of the North American International Life Science Institute (ILSI). Served as President of the Internatinal Association for Food Protection (IAFP) from August, 2008 to July 2009 and continues on the Executive Board of IAFP until August 2010.

Senior Director, Scientific Affairs for bioMerieux Industry. Primary responsibilities are to lead Applied Research group responsible for AOAC validations and to provide scientific and technical support to the commercial operations team in the US, Canada, and Latin America, and to serve as liaison between the food industry diagnostic needs and the bioMerieux R&D. Also work to raise profile of bioMerieux by serving on the scientific advisory board of the Institute o Food Science and Health, the food safety councils of the United Fresh a Produce Association and the American Meat a Institute. Served as President of the International Association for a Food Protection (IAFP) from 2008 to 2009.

Senior research scientist responsible for efforts to reduce bacterial pathogens, primarily Salmonella, Listeria, and Campylobacter in chicken production and processing. In addition, was actively engaged in research and evaluations of rapid methods and automation of technologies to detect these bacterial pathogens from poultry an other food products.
