Mr. Boder has 23 years of experience in the herpetological and environmental field and as Senior Herpetologist / Project Manager at EnviroScience, coordinates and supervises herpetological projects and staff. He trains staff in agency protocols and collection procedures, and aids staff when applying for qualified status and permits. He attends field meetings with clients and agencies and updates senior staff on changes to protocols and agency requirements as well as developing new protocols when they are lacking or non-existent. As a Qualified Timber Rattlesnake Surveyor, Mr. Boder is a lead surveyor for timber rattlesnake Phase I and Phase II surveys and has discovered numerous new timber rattlesnake den and gestation sites. He also supervises and conducts timber rattlesnake construction monitoring projects throughout PA, NY, and NJ. Mr. Mr. Boder is also a USFWS-qualified bog turtle surveyor in Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maryland. Other duties include project proposal development, review of data and reports for each project, submission of final reports to the client or agency, and acquisition of herpetological projects from current or potential clients. Mr. Boder also conducts or assists with wetland delineations and other rare and endangered species surveys including surveys for the Allegheny woodrat, threatened and endangered bats, the spotted turtle and the northern red-bellied cooter.
