Managed projects from conception to completion. Responsibilities include all facets of Right of Way acquisition. Completed multiple trunk line, midstream, Central Distribution Point, and Compressor station projects. Work with FERC regulated and non-regulated projects. Proficient in utilizing the State of Texas Landowner Bill of Rights and Chapter 21 of the Texas Property Code. Daily activities consist of efficiently routing pipelines, deed research, compile 30-year title, create and maintain spreadsheets, continuously communicating with landowners, acquire survey permission, support land survey, environmental survey, archaeological survey, negotiate for and acquire easements, negotiate surface use agreement details, support construction, and settle damages. Perform various other Right of Way duties as assigned in support of operations and maintenance. Ability to read and utilize survey drawings, alignment sheets, and construction blueprints. Maintain working relationship between landowners and contractor during pipeline rehabilitation by providing information up front about the process and being on-site as needed. In constant communication with Project Managers and Project Engineers to receive and share feedback to keep acquisition and other projects on budget and on pace to reach target completion dates

Manage several projects each year throughout North America. Completed multiple seismic acquisition programs in the Eagle Ford area from 2010 through 2012. Completed two large acquisition projects in California’s San Joaquin Valley that were both environmentally sensitive and heavily scrutinized by regulatory agencies from 2008 to 2009. Job duties include supervising day to day operations in field offices. Training and advising agents. Provide guidance on how to deal with difficult landowners. Oversee acquisition agents’ production as well as title research agents’ production. Work directly with clients and client’s field representatives. Meet with clients to report progress on job completion. Negotiate and resolve contract issues with attorneys and problematic landowners. Submit and execute permits with county, state, federal, and regulatory agencies. Title research to confirm current landowners. Conduct due diligence to determine if condemnation is possible on particular tracts of land.·

Houston, Texas Area

Worked on multiple seismic acquisition programs throughout North America. Met with landowners to discuss and finalize ingress/egress contracts and lease option contracts. Contacted mineral owners, leasing companies, and well operators to acquire permission to record data across their mineral interest. Met with BLM and U.S. Forest Service to discuss regulations and conditions pertaining to field operations. Attended daily field operations meetings to coordinate crew activities. Dealt with landowners that had damages due to the seismic operations and negotiated damage settlements. ·

Houston, Texas Area

Worked on several seismic acquisition programs throughout East Texas. Met with landowners to negotiate seismic surface use agreements. Researched tobin maps, deeds, and tax ownership information at appraisal districts and court houses to determine current landowners on unidentified tracts of land. Worked with many timber companies to address their concerns and stipulations. Attended survey, drilling, and recording crew safety meetings each morning. Communicated with survey, drilling, and recording operations daily to work through conditions and obtain access to the specific areas they needed to work in that day. Dealt with unsatisfied landowners to correct issues and help crews gain access back to properties so production can continue.
