Manage z/OS projects with the relationship of batch scheduling and production control on the mainframe systems. Working with System Software, TWS Administration, and Automation teams as a level 2 resource for mainframe z/OS initiatives, identify where potential problems exist and take preventative measures to resolve issues. Review and implement TWS z/OS changes that enhance functionality of the batch scheduling product.Provide on-call support help to resolve department, division and customer issues related to batch processing scheduling software. Work as tier two technical support for Production Control, Computer Operations and Application support teams on scheduling system functionality by testing and providing solutions to scheduling batch in a global environment Provide support for Business Continuity Recovery exercises on both z/OS TWS and Open System Autosys schedulers. Work with Systems Support, Automation, Schedulers and Operation teams to train and document all aspects of a recovery exercise. Ensure recovery time objectives are met to satisfy client requirements are met. Support Open Systems Autosys scheduling team for administration of day to day activities, resolve problem tickets with in the required SLA’s and working on migration team to upgrade Autosys to R11.3.5 release.

Joined State Street in 1992 as a Production Control Analyst with a strong back ground in scheduling and MVS operation to support the migration from CA Manager to OPC/TWSz scheduling system.; responsible for development and integration, training and administration support of TWS/z scheduling system.Level 2 support for TWS/z issue resolution and communication with senior management when customer deliverables are impacted. Work with application developers, operations & system software support staff to identify problems, manage their resolutions using best practices for minimizing risk.Manage significant projects that relate to Mainframe and iSeries(AS400) environments to ensure the TWS/z scheduling system and support tools are utilized properly during Application migrations, Operating systems upgrades and System software implementations, Business Continuity recovery exercises.Administer and maintain production control products TWS/z, Docutext, and JobScan, by testing and evaluating new features and function needed by applications support teams to schedule batch in a global environment.

Hired as second shift lead Data Center and Production Control Analyst supporting batch processing for a migration from Honeywell(DPS-8 & DPS-6) systems to IBM MVS system architecture. As the second shift lead, my main function was to provide training for operations and production control teams with IBM operating system and CA-7 background for supporting and maintaining an IBM mainframe environment running manufacturing applications.Utilized technical skills to independently research and initiate process improvements that streamlined migrations of applications from Honeywell to IBM system architecture.

Hired as a Sr. Computer Operator monitoring CICS Network, Job scheduling, JCL maintenance, and Master console monitoring. Training of computer operators and weekend off shift to support system IPL's and maintenance. Interface with software and hardware vendors, end user, customer support representatives, and product instillation teams to identify and resolve problems.

Hired as a Computer Operator in an IBM mainframe environment. Promoted to second shift Sr. Lead Operator in 1988 for monitoring and controlling batch processing. Worked with proficiency to ensure maximum computer and peripheral utilization during the off shift. Review and fix JCL error conditions; take required measures following defined procedures. Verify all output for completeness, accuracy and proper dispersal.
