Now I have graduated from the bachelor Industrial Design Engineering, I aspire to create solutions that advance the current world into a greener and more sustainable one. My passion for surfing helps to keep me grounded and experience the allure of nature which fuels me to apply sustainable design techniques to product development and business strategies. By being a campmanager on a surfcamp for Ripstar, I hope to share this passion with others, so that they can start to take care as well.I not only create products and services, I also create experiences by cooking for people. For Ripstar I cooked for large groups, creating a several course menu with basic means. Over the years I have learned hospitality and discipline, which enables me to be a private chef for groups as well.

Campmanager
CurrentAs a camp manager I am responsible for Ripstar's surfcamp in Oyambre. Over the summer I am in charge of a team of 30 people, with who we create unforgettable weeks for our guests. My role as manager also includes budget management, (financial) administration, relation management with the locals, solving problems and teambuilding.

Head Chef
During my work as a Head Chef for Ripstar's Family Camps I was responsible for all food and beverage related matters. I was in charge of a four headed team to serve a 3-course meal five times a week for guests that applied for dinner. This required creativity, passion and discipline as the kitchen was limited equipped, but still a high-standard dinner was needed. This also meant that the kitchen needed to be within the HACCP guidelines, and food be served accordingly. Furthermore, I had to do shopping in French supermarkets, while still staying within budget. Lastly, it was my duty to keep the bar stocked and appealing for guests and crew.

With two other cooks we were in charge of cooking dinner six times a week for approximately 200 people each day over the course of the summer. We were helped by three volunteers each day, which I needed to manage. Furthermore, I often had the responsibility to cook for guests with allergies.
