I started out the insurance business working for Independent Life Ins. Co. in the home service arena. After 4 years with Independent Life I was recruited by Hays Middleton, general agent with American National Ins. Co. I worked with American National in Albany Ga. from 1977 until 1982. At that time I was promoted to become the general agent in Tampa, Fl. For about 13 years I was responsible for recruiting and training a sales force. Our agency was one of the top agencies in the entire company for many years. After careful consideration I decided to change my career path and I gave up the general agency position and became a sales agent again. American National sent me and my wife all over the world to marketing conferences. We have been to Germany, Greece, Italy, Australia, Mexico, Switzerland, Lake Tahoe, Alaska, and many others. American National decided in 2006 to leave Florida and at that time I became an independent insurance agent. This business has been great to me and my family. Thanks to all of my fantastic clients!
