Software leader of the Suburban Boston "District Networking Team" (DNT). Together with the Sales and Field Service lead, we designed complete (hardware, software, services) network solutions for customers across a variety of industries (retail, manufacturing, education, high tech, etc...). Key accounts included Millipore, Zayre, Wellesley College among others.

Delivered numerous Network Design & Analysis, DECnet-VAX and Installation classes to Software Networking Specialists in the US and UK; Mentored an "instructor in training" from Middlesex Community College.

Researched & designed a model for evaluating the effectiveness of an integrated voice/data digital switch using simulation tools; Designed & delivered interactive analysis software to evaluate the state of GTE's outside plant; Created core database for this system that included the local loops' physical & electrical attributes plus customer survey data; Co-authored "Performance Evaluation of a Distributed Burst-Switched Communications System", Phoenix Conference on Computers and Communications", March 1983 & multiple internal papers.

Provided engineering program support for government consulting contracts including a large software simulation project. Confidential level clearance.

Taught grades 7-11 using the British “O” level curriculum. I also traveled extensively throughout Eastern and Western Europe, learned conversational French, and co-lead several student trips to France, Italy and the USSR.

Taught Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry and was co-leader of Math team and Ski Club.
