Responsible for developing for the HL7 message creation and connecting clients to the State Immunization Registries.

• Responsibilities include researching a quicker and more efficient way to implement HL7 interfaces by using FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) Specification, which is a standard for exchanging healthcare information electronically. This includes loading the complete development environment and all tables and code, modifying existing code to provide a more expedient solution.

• As senior consultant, was an active member on the design team from the inception of SFA (Sales Force Automation). Designed from the highest level to the lowest level, provided design documents, implemented, tested and maintained the project in an object oriented environment using C++ and MacApp. The SFA application was used by 1800 Sales Reps and District Managers on their laptop as a tool to order cigarettes, promotional items, and POS advertisements. It was also used to monitor the Sales Reps productivity, how many accounts visited, etc.. SFA was full of edits that ensured the Sales Rep entered the proper information by enabling/disabling fields that were dependent on each other. This system replaced a bubble sheet that took weeks for feedback for incorrect entries.• Created Unit and Integration test plans. Coordinated user acceptance testing and sign-off.• Gather user requirements, Design, Develop, implement, and maintain a “hands off” electronic software distribution system using C/C++ on Macintosh hardware. • Develop, implement, and test distribution packages for remote dial-in installations.• Develop technical specifications and designs. Provide development estimates based on initial analysis of design/requests delivered from functional analyst. Participate in design and code reviews.• Developed unit test plans and data. Perform unit, integration, and regression testing. Implement user acceptance testing environment and coordinate with testing team for user acceptance testing and signoff.• Provided continued support/development of the Sales Force Automation program.
