Upon graduating from the University of Georgia, I was actively recruited by the United States Treasury, Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation Division and came on board as the first black Special Agent in the Atlanta District and enjoyed a career expanding 32 years, retiring in 2006. I received numerous awards throughout my career as a criminal investigator and in 1999 was recognized by my peers as the top investigator in the Atlanta Field Office and presented with the Steve Favis Award for 1998. Currently I am a Realtor/Associate with Keller Williams Realty, Atlanta Metro East specializing in residential properties and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc., Zeta Pi Chapter, University of Georgia, the Association of Former Special Agents, NAACP Rockdale Branch, National Association of Realtors, among other organizations.
