About Stan Mckenzie
Hello, I have owned a senior housing consultation company since 2005. We help families find more appropriate housing in the greater Seattle / Everett area for mom and dad when their home is no longer the best option. I am a former Physician's Assistant and later had over ten years in senior housing management. We specialize in helping folks with memory loss and/or help with higher levels of care. Recently we have enjoyed a stretch helping many healthy seniors look for the next step in housing when the house becomes a hassle and COVID isolation has become intolerable. Often the isolation creates "social isolation memory loss" that may be reversed with socialization. Although we have helped folks find housing nationally, our real expertise is the greater Seattle area, Renton North into Snohomish county. Unfortunately, we can only work with private pay folks. DSHS or Medicaid wants their social workers to place their clients. Since 2005 we have contracted with over 400 retirement companies, assisted living, adult family homes, and skilled nursing companies. They pay our fees typically from their marketing budget. This gives us the opportunity to fit our client's needs with the community so they have excellent choices.
