This job involves a number of responsibilities including leading a team of promoters promoting nightclubs for the biggest nightlife promotions company in the North West • Handling large amounts of money ensuring that everything is accounted for when handing it over to the nightclub owner/manager. • Managing a team of people; responsible for leading and coordinating them throughout the night making sure it runs as smoothly as possible and without problems or complaints. • If an event isn’t looking as though it is going to make enough money to cover staff cost, it is my responsibility to cut the staff hours to make sure they get paid on time and make sure the company doesn’t make any loss. • As manager I am responsible for making sure the employees get paid on time. • Speaking to the venue manager to find out how the event has gone and relaying the information to my manager. • Working in a number of towns & cities across the northwest including Liverpool, Manchester, Chester, Preston, Wigan & Blackpool.• Confident with approaching the general public promoting a range of events, from working with Yo Sushi! to promoting University Fresher’s events. • Remaining calm, reasonable and friendly under pressure in a range of challenging environments.• Flexibility in working long unsociable hours.• Ability to remain professional and courteous with volatile and challenging individuals.
