Stan Ponte is a Senior Global Real Estate Advisor and Associate Broker at Sotheby’s International Realty - East Side Manhattan Brokerage, as well as an avid theater lover and Co-Producer of the upcoming new Broadway musical Real Women Have Curves. Stan was named the #2 agent in Manhattan by sales volume for his work in 2020 achieving $144 million in sales, according to The Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends.Stan is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in acting and completed the Stella Adler Conservatory program. True to his artistic calling, he is a current board member and former president of The Drama League. Previously, he served on the board of directors of his pre-war condominium. He is also the Co-Director of sales for The Woolworth Tower Residences. Stan was one of the founding members of the successful Broker’s Build with Habitat for Humanity NYC and was recognized with their New Partnerships Award. He is a strong supporter of the Anti-Violence Project, which awarded him with their highest recognition in 2017, The Courage Award. In addition, Stan received the 2020 Bailey House Rand Harlan Skolnick Social Responsibility Award. Stan also supports the Catskill Animal Sanctuary, served as a founding member of the Bedford Playhouse, home of Clive Davis Arts Center, and currently serves on the NYC Leadership Circle of the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University and as vice president of The Steeple Playhouse. In 2023, Stan received the inaugural Sotheby’s International Realty Humanitarian Award.
