Been in the drilling industry since 1989 starting as a Roustabout and worked through the positions including Driller, Toolpusher and Senior Toolpusher prior to moving into a DSV and SDSV roles. Within my 34 years experience offshore I have worked on HPHT, underbalanced and conventional drilling campaigns in the North Sea, Southern North Sea and Dutch waters for a number of major and minor oil companies. I have extensive knowledge and experience in supervisory roles within the drilling industry including 22 plus years as a Toolpusher or DSV / SDSV.I have just completed my latest campaign as SDSV back with Petrofac carrying out their assigned work scope for Dana Petroleum & Tailwind. This included a planning role (working from home) prior to going offshore onboard the Stena Spey for a subsea abandonment, slot recovery and sidetrack with new completion and vertical subsea tree installed. The project was a huge success bringing it in well under AFE.My previous contract was with Repsol onboard the Montrose Platform to abandoning wells using a Wellgear's HWU also as SDSV. As there was no drilling facilities onboard this was a very challenging assignment which was deemed a success by Repsol. Prior to this I was SDSV onboard the Stena Spey for Petrofac on their project for AOC. This included P&A of the reservoir section and sidetracking the well installing a new completion and vertical subsea tree prior to handing it back to the FPSO. This work came immediately after completing the abandonment programme of the Osprey and Merlin fields for Fairfield where 16 subsea wells were abandoned successfully also as SDSV. Previous projects as SDSV / DSV include being contracted to Apache on board the Rowan Gorilla VII which was cantilevered over the Forties Alpha Satellite Platform as well as stand alone subsea wells, the semisubmersible Ocean Patriot, the Forties Charlie and Bravo platforms. Previously to this, I worked as an employee of ADTI in a DSV/SDSV position for 4.5 years who based their business on performance with many campaigns being "turnkey". I see myself as highly motivated and high performer within the industry will all my previous Superintendents prepared to act as a referee within my CV.
