My professional life has been focused in the fast paced Toy & Game industry and in banking. I have served in various roles ranging from a Collections Manager & Claims Manager for Hasbro to an Assistant Branch Manager and Customer Service Representative for Heritage Bank for Savings. Each of these positions mandated a strong attention to detail, customer service skills, management and diplomacy skills, and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and projects. While with Hasbro, I had the opportunity to serve as part of the upgrade team and applied my management skills in conducting end user transaction testing for upgrades and changes made to the system (SAP) and later to manage a small group of people who were conducting these tests for my functional area. I learned a lot about the transactions we used and the support needed to make things work the way we wanted them to. While maintaining the corporate life, I have cultivated my strong interest in photography, which I have been practicing since I was a year book photographer at Easthampton High School. Travel and landscape photography have been my mainstays ever since with corporate documentation and fine art photography being the most recent direction in my photographic life. In between my corporate duties I have participated in several charitable events including: The Relay for Life supporting the American Cancer Society by participating in a relay style walking event; Katelyn’s Ride supporting the Jimmy Fund in a 100 mile bicycle ride through Western Massachusetts; and the Walk for Life supporting the March of Dimes in a three mile walk.

Collections ManagerHasbro Jan 2008 - Jun 2013In the position of Collections Manager with Hasbro, I was responsible for the day to day operations of my department and for the activities of three collection teams. The most important aspects of this position were the collection of invoices, meeting established monthly collection goals, perfecting and collecting deductions that had been reviewed and denied for payment. Managing special projects including the end user testing of SAP transactions, pertaining to my functional area, for system upgrades and changes and ensuring these tests were completed on time and that any problems were addressed appropriately. Included in my managerial duties were the completion of yearly performance evaluations. -
