- Built virtual top down view images of very large areas of road networks simply by driving a vehicle around the road network, currently launched as a product Gaist's SurfaceView (Patented GB2557398).
- Implemented a restricted Structure-from-Motion (SfM) for largely planar scenes such as road scene that scales well to the size of the UK's road network and is several orders of magnitude faster than the conventional.
- Developed a seamless image stitching that scales well to very large sets of images (more than a million).
- Enhanced gradient-based image stitching to be able to eliminate undesired objects such as shadows, moving cars, stationary objects etc.
- Single-handedly transformed research prototypes into production-ready codebase enabled the company to utilise them as instruments to secure funding from investors.
