Member of Executive Leadership, Financial Management, Campus Development, and Communications Teams. Led the Financial Stewardship Ministry. Approached by Shepherd Community in September 2012 for the second time in two years to join their leadership team as COO. Left to expand my influence at the next level of leadership.SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS• Provided timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.• Established an 8-week, $640k Operating Contingency Fund and a Major Building Repair Sinking Fund.• Facilitated cross-functional team design of a key metrics’ dashboard.• Executed major capital projects. Significant projects: a $400k worship center renovation and a $5.2 million land development project including a 26,500 square foot addition.• Implemented internal accounting controls and standard reporting formats including Restricted, Agency, and Unrestricted Funds.• Reduced commercial insurance costs 20% through risk assessment and bidding.• Structured a $6.1 million taxable bond issue to refinance existing Worship Center and finance the purchase of 68 surrounding acres.• Planned and executed multiple IT solutions: outsourced IT support, online giving, electronic children’s check-in, security, and cloud, network and web-based infrastructure.• Researched and led Management Team through the design and implementation of the first and subsequent health benefit plans and 403(b) Retirement Plan Document.• Point person in defense of an injury liability lawsuit in New Orleans, Louisiana, resulting from an accident, during a post-Hurricane Katrina work trip.
