With headquarters in Indianapolis, I will spend part of my time up north, while serving the reminder of the year remotely in Florida. From my previous church experience, I have known the Mission since 1996 and am thrilled to have joined a Kingdom expanding organization, whose mission resonates so deeply within me.CICM responds to the needs of people in India and surrounding countries through outreach initiatives including providing medical care, disaster relief, shelter, food, education, training and more. Responsible for Finance, Human Resources, Administration, Information Technology, Food Service, and Facilities. Resigned, after working a 45-day notice period, to pursue an executive position with an organization offering a collaborative and empowering leadership culture.SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS• Initial responsibilities focused on ministry programming and operations. Managed facility with over $80 million in annual revenues and 450 non-union employees. Responsibilities: divisional profit, financial reporting & budgeting, manufacturing, quality systems, human resources, safety & environmental, IS-IT, customer service, production planning, scheduling, raw and finished goods inventories, warehousing, and logistics. Acquired by International Paper in October 2000. Released in January 2001 during management team reorganization.SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS• Transformed two conflict-driven, divisional management teams by setting behavioral expectations and conducting team dynamics training, which led to operational goal alignment and achievement.• Improved “on time delivery” performance from 60% to 98.5% by creating cross-functional teams, educating process owners, consolidating scheduling efforts, and monitoring customer expectations.• Achieved one million man-hours worked without a lost time accident. Responsibilities: product line profitability and pricing strategy, customer service, structural and graphic design, estimating, production planning, scheduling, finished goods inventory, warehousing, and logistics. Acquired by Shorewood Packaging Corporation in October 1998.Selected Accomplishment• Increased new business and existing market shares by designing and implementing a "Value Added" or "Marginal Contribution" pricing strategy. Annual revenues increased 15%, and overall gross margin improved 700 basis points.
