Director Of It/Transformation - The Purpose
Campbell Scientific (Canada) Corp. Nov 2016 - Present
    Logan, Utah, Us
Given my extensive background from the technology and cloud computing market, as the Director of Transformation, I believe my key focus areas and responsibility to foster success and deliver results are: ■ To provide a clear overarching strategic vision heavily leveraging technology in conjunction with solidifying a tactical plan that delivers on the corporate goals■ To bring and contribute successful models of agile team work to our internal teams to increase results effectiveness.■ To mentor, challenge and empower my teams to achieve their potential through providing them more autonomy and opportunities to work on much more complex projects than they had in the past.■ To provide clarity of the team's mission and purpose and to ensure all team members know how their contributions aligned to the corporate goals.■ To embrace and promote collaboration across the organization, first, by my own very example.■ To engage the hearts and minds of our internal teams, external partners and service providers, and ultimately the marketplace.■ To expose and share with my team the concept of "bigger" thinking utilizing the 10X thinking framework, and the idea of AND-OR solution approaches rather than zero-sum thinking.■ To encourage everyone on my teams to never shy away from tough and complex challenges. It's my belief that complex challenges are just gifts waiting for someone to open them! Now, if you're wondering if I might only have soft skills as a leader, you'll be delighted to know I'm also technically inclined! Some days I can even speak binary.
