Served in the capacity of Senior Network Architect at TELUS and was a lead member of the technical services development team on the TELUS Managed Services offering. The project was of a national scope with a service coverage capability from East to West. The Managed WorkPlace project was a “golden egg’ initiative and one of the top 6 initiatives within TELUS during that time frame. Project budget was $6 million. ■ INTERNATIONAL experience in working with remote teams in the APAC (Asia Pacific) regions including Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan as well as EMEA including Ireland and Germany. ■ Full technical leadership for the architecture and design of the Windows infrastructure supporting the TELUS Managed WorkPlace initiative. Mandated solution was to be able to support in excess of 25,000+ simultaneous managed nodes. ■ Full responsibility for technical vision, architecture and scalability of design. Led two senior engineers in the project scoping, evaluation, development, testing, and service launch of 2 key critical modules.■ Provided direct and impactful feedback to direct services and features development for the Managed Services portfolio■ Negotiated licensing agreements and key elements with national and global software partners
