Prior to joining Money Concepts, Stan served in the US Navy on active duty as a Surface Warfare Officer. He served on the USS Worden (CG-18), a guided missile cruiser. At various times, he served as the Missile Officer, Boilers Officer and Engineering Auxiliaries Officer.Stan has been a financial advisor for Money Concepts since 1993. Here is Stan in his own words:“When I began my investment advisor career with Money Concepts in 1993, I realized that it was all about helping my clients achieve their dreams and goals through financial planning. My career emphasis has focused on all aspects of the financial planning process including family security, retirement, and estate planning.”His years with Money Concepts have provided him with a wealth of experience and knowledge of the financial planning process and the financial markets. This experience is backed up by his formal education.Stan has a master’s in business administration from The University of Michigan with an emphasis in financial markets and financial accounting. He also has a bachelor of science degree from Purdue University in mechanical technology. The combination of these two disciplines gives him the knowledge and ability to rigorously evaluate the different opportunities and difficulties that his clients face on a day-to-day basis.On January 1, 2008, Stan retired as a Commander in the US Navy Reserve after 21 years of service.
