I have supported the commercialization of hundreds of technologies. Mentoring and advising new business ventures to success is a key passion of mine. I have received numerous awards from organizations such as the Triangle Business Journal (Women in Business & 40 Under 40 awards), Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, and NASA. I served and lead Duke University Healthcare System's Patient Family Advisory Councils for nearly a decade. Whether my IVT team and I are working with NASA to strategize the best approach to technology commercialization for their space technology, helping the US Army Corps of Engineers to move their innovations to the battlefield for use by soldiers and beyond, developing tool kits for the adoption of new processes from the Clinical Trials Transformation Initiative, guiding and positioning startups for success, advising the staff at Komen on how to engage and excite supporters, or providing our non-profit partners with in-kind strategic redesign of their websites, my basic philosophy is the same: be intentional, be authentic, and be impactful.
