The Global Product Service Planner is an integral part of the IBM TSS business, the role is highly technical and requires product knowledge, collaboration with engineers, offering and delivery teams, as well as close cooperation with clients and manufacturers.• Ensures a new product is serviceable, drives improvements, assesses costs, outlines processes, manages a worldwide strategy for service and implementation, meets client expectations. • Serves as the primary focal point for anything related to the Product Life-Cycle of a specific technology or product • Works on market and country specific requirements and needs• Develops Global Customer Support and Delivery plans, provides Educational road maps and advises on Manufacturer’s training and certification requirements for the delivery of Remote Technical Support• Drives delivery efficiency, growth, cost optimization and benchmark comparison amongst the markets• Defines and implements KPI target objectives for Operational and Product performance• Creates and maintains relationships with Markets, manufacturers, and participating teams• Hosts weekly forums with the GEOs, markets, manufacturers, IBM support teams and creates awareness on changes, challenges, issues
