Lead Software Engineer
CurrentIn charge of all software produced by the company, including the Image and Data Analysis Software as well as the Instrument Control software and firmware.- Lead Engineer and Manager for a team of 3 to 4 engineers. - In charge of the autofocus algorithm, instrument calibration and signal processing (embedded modules written in C, others in C# and C++, using OpenCV). - Maintain and improve analysis software. Implemented image quality improvements (uneven illumination correction, background removal). Re-implemented faster algorithm and image processing in C++ (OpenCV) with JNI. - Implement the firmware (STM32) for the company’s new instrument, including GPIO, I2C, UART communication protocol, …- Implement touch panel graphical UI in C++ using Qt- Work closely with Hardware team to define instrument design and specifications- Authored software documentation to comply with IEC 62304 (medical device software) and contributed to ISO 13485 (medical device) documentation.
