Integrated docker and docker-compose to some of the microservices and Web UI. This made deployment much easier, and other colleagues were able to set up those services without thinking about any dependencies and setup.2. Analised legacy Web UI performance issue. And planned steps to improve it.3. Integrated webpack, babel, ESLint, and prettier to the legacy code base and have rewritten old codebase to modules. Bundling has increased load speed(tree shaking and minification) and reduced memory usage. ESLint, prettier, and module system allowed to have a consistent style in the code base and improved ease and speed of development. 4. Integrated React and Redux, and testing framework to UI, have rewritten UI menus and statuses to react components. It has improved the overall user experience and has increased development speed.5. Proposed and implemented the addition of a new backend server only for Web UI using node.js, MongoDB, and WebSockets. Which made the frontend bundle lighter and have improved our microservice architecture.6. Investigated and fixed issues with frame rate drop of 3D map in web UI. My role was to:1. design and develop the web UI and backend for management and analytics tools for annotation teams2. participate in planning review code3. review and refactor code for another team.4. deployment to AWS.Challenges and achievements: When the backend devs left the team, I had to take over the backend development (Python and Django). I have updated the internal version of CVAT and internal console tools for it (Golang) to support the new version of CVAT, so the annotation team was able to use new features in ramping up annotation project.
