Naturally, the recent war touched me deeply, so I have launched a charitable initiative myself. Today we are a team of 7 volunteers, organizing therapeutical and heartwarming meetups for war refugees, where several times per month we host gatherings for up to 150 people. During these meetings refugees are offered true emotional support, educational psychological support, and group therapy to adults, helping them to learn about stages of war trauma and healing techniques. Teenagers are also provided with professional psychological support, learning constructive communication and emotional intelligence in a playful way. In addition, they can enjoy playing board games and making new friends. Art therapy and Sand therapy are provided to children, as a part of soft techniques approach and at the same time very effective when it comes to healing deep trauma.
