Hi Honey Farm is a Honey & Pollination Company passionate about saving the bees and contributing to local community in Hawaii. Our journey began over 8 years ago after I, Stanislav, moved to Hawaii and established my life's passion on the North Shore of Oahu. But our story truly began with my grandfathers love for bees. While growing up in Russia, I spent almost every summer tending to the bees with my grandfather at our country home- knowing one day I would have a hive of my own. Now, nearly thirty years later my dream became reality. One morning while I was hiking the private trail behind my North Shore country home I spotted a wild beehive that got me buzzing. The land was perfect for bees: a natural water source hydrated the bees and wild papaya, elderberry, lilikoi and more. This discovery led to many hours outside studying the bees and searching for more hives in the area. Before you knew it, Hi Honey Farm was born and continues to grow everyday!—————————Hi Honey Farm is passionate about harvesting local raw honey. Raw honey is honey that has not been filtered or pasteurized. The pasteurization process involves heating honey to certain temperatures which enhances its shelf-life, but consequently destroys the pollen intact and all the beneficial enzymes inside. Hi Honey Farm never filters or pasteurizes our honey. Our product is packaged on the North Shore of Oahu and made by the busiest bees who work year round on our beautiful 'aina. —————————Our beautiful planet has been gifted bees for an important purpose and it is necessary for all beekeepers to keep this purpose in mind. In a recent worldwide study, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization stated that about 16% of major pollinators may disappear in the future due to destruction of habitats and deteriorating environments. News like this inspires Hi Honey Farm to raise awareness about beekeeping. Losing bees and other pollinating insects could be detrimental to our planet as they are related to almost every meal we eat.Without bees’ diversity and pollination, our crops and entire ecosystem may face serious issues that would endanger all of us. Thus, it is Hi Honey Farm’s mission to ensure a better future for our earth by protecting these precious insects.
