In that time, the board of Česká spořitelna was seriously considering closing the merchant acquiring department because of terrible results. My team and I turned this situation around with a great performance resulting in position no.1 (volumes and number of transactions) in the Czech Republic leading to a merger with the world’s largest processor and acquirer : Global Payments in 2016.I was a member of the Danube project team which was responsible for creating a joint venture between Erste Bank Group and Global Payments.I continued in my career path in Global Payments where I led two roles simultaneously.
