He graduated from Columbia University focusing on economic and political development. His fieldwork experience focuses on rural and private enterprise creation and furthering the emergence of a strong market economy in South Asian countries, such as Bangladesh. He also has Masters degree in Economics from the University of Sydney and a Bachelors Degree in Business from Monash University. He also has over 3 years of corporate treasury experience in Bangladesh focusing on local currency financing from local and multinational banks.
