I participated in all facets of the creation and launch of the Synaptics Scrybe product suite. I designed and managed a cloud infrastructure using Amazon Web Services to deliver Scrybe installations, updates, data management, and reporting. I created software designs and specifications and built a team that developed core Scrybe app features, built the installers and components, and provided test management. I helped define the short and long-term product roadmaps and created technical strategies.

As part of the founding team of this pioneering specialty ecommerce website, I authored the original technical vision, built the development team, served as the first CTO, and raised venture capital. In 2010, Drivewire was sold to WorldPac, a leading auto parts distributor.

Led the design and development for a large suite of apps and databases to manage key production, testing, and environmental information at the Toyota USA plants, including some of the first pen-and-touch tablet applications created anywhere for mobile data collection in a production environment.

T-Mobile had grown through acquisition and used more than a dozen different databases around the USA to generate customer invoices. I built and led a team of data management experts to design and code an XML-centric pipeline and Oracle data mart to consolidate all billing information into a single SQL database. Our data warehouse reduced invoice generation times by 98%, from 24 hours to a few minutes.

I was one of the co-founders of the Northwest Venture Group and its original Vice President. Serving as the meeting emcee for the first few years allowed me to develop public speaking skills early in my career, and I learned a lot about entrepreneurship.
