• Qualify & develop local/regional supplier base for raw material, and / or finished goods, special processes, and other requirement as part of New Product Introduction (NPI) or Engineering Change Order (ECO) process.• Maintain Approved Vendor List with appropriate suppliers having good Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Management System and approved as per NOV procedures/policies and guidelines.• Manage supplier delivery and quality performance, work with various disciplines in the organization to ensure timely availability of good quality products and services.• Interface with other function groups to understand new developments & requirements for product realization/manufacturing and establish supplier base to support to the business needs.• Manage purchasing activities for various BUs/commodities to ensure the supply & demand is maintained at a healthy level, with appropriate actions on all MRP messages from ERP system.• Primary liaison for all supplier related matters and communication with suppliers.• Resolve any discrepant vendor invoices.• Work with all disciplines in the organization in a manner that addresses the requirements of the end item customer.• Notify requester or affected party of any delay from supplier, especially if it impacts delivery to customers.• Analyze supplier quotes and make best sourcing decision based on the needs of the organization.• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.• Implement global procurement strategies.• Support and co-ordinate end -to-end freight & logistics management of materials as needed• Support strategic sourcing manager to evaluate suppliers’ risks, optimize cost, improve quality, continuity of supply and increase revenue• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

• Coordinating freight booking and assignment of shipping jobs in line with Global Logistic guidelines within NOV, Drilling & Intervention.• Establish local guidelines and SOP as required, including those for third party service providers.• Ensure accurate shipping documents are prepared and provided for all shipments• Negotiate with forwarders and logistic service providers to achieve better cost efficiency.• Coordinate with freight forwarders for all import and export activities.• Verify billing invoices and ensure accuracy as per service provided.• Follow up with customers on shipment status and provide updates to the relevant parties.• Data entry on shipment records and ensure accurate freight accruals provided to finance every month.• Primary liaison with all forwarder and logistic service providers on all related matters and communication.• Maintain overview of service providers’ performance and drive improvements as necessary. • Ensure all required records are maintained to meet local and global HSEQMS & Legal requirements. • Follow-up and implement corrective actions for customer complaints with shipping & logistic. • Ensure compliance to all QEHS guidelines.• Manage shipment planning and freight tender to Freight forwarders in Oracle Transportation Management. • Review and audit freight invoices in the Oracle Transportation Management System• Other responsibilities/ duties identified and assigned from time to time, e.g. part of process improvement

• Coordinate with local service providers for all local deliveries including normal delivery to customers as well as exhibitions conferences.• Handle all import/export activities and prepare shipping documents.• Ensure all shipments to be picked and packed by warehouse assistants within the collection dateline• Coordinate with customer service department for all urgent enquiries and deliveries depending on customer requirements• Review and negotiation of freight rates with courier express companies and freight forwarders for competitive rates• Sourcing for cheaper vendors for all warehouse supplies.• Access and submit all claims for defectives and shortages from suppliers and customers.• Reduce stock for defective books and issue credit note• Data Entry and keep proper record for all incoming/outgoing shipments with proof of deliveries.• Yearly inventory cycle count

Rental Support:• Ensure all service and inspection reports are ready checked before the rental tools are shipped out to customers• Process and manage work orders to ensure they are closely followed up and closed• Update Track-A-Tool and movement listings on the status of the rental fleet• Assist with rental and sales billing process to ensure the tools are invoiced to customers within 14days of returnOperation Support:• Print purchase receiver ticket• Handle all receiving activities into JDE systems• Release orders and generate pick tickets• Ship confirmation after items are packed • Advise on the packing details for shipping• Follow up on cargo that has not been collected by customers• Manage sales order backlogs and advise availability of stocksLogistics Shipping:• Provide operational support for Down Hole business in the Far East Area• Handle all import and export activities• Prepare export shipping documentations commercial invoice/packing list through JDE system• Liaise with appointed freight forwarders for shipment by air/ocean/truck freight• Apply Certificate of Origin through Chamber of Commerce• Send pre-alerts with all shipping documents to customer and inter-companies• Process freight charge back to inter-companies and customers• Oversee freight billing and verification, maintaining record and freight pricing• Invoicing through JDE system

•Process and reschedule the Manufacturing Due Date (MDD) of exceptional order with the availability of balance on hand stocks, incoming stocks and forecast from subsidiaries. •Process direct delivery order base on balance on hand stocks and forecast provided from subsidiaries. (DDO receipt from subsidiaries)•Advise subsidiaries of the delivery schedule of Exceptional and Direct delivery order•Manage backorders and advice subsidiaries/customers of the availability of goods.•Process Weekly Customer service level report and investigate the failed orders•Monthly forecast review meeting – Preparation of file from information generated from Predicast and meetings with overseas subsidiaries for forecast review.•Minutes taking after every monthly forecast review with the subsidiaries•Update information into Predicast base on the information given by the subsidiaries.•Monthly process - Updating of past month order bookings into Predicast, Link File, 3 processes file•Consolidation of Weekly/ Monthly Statistics •Maintenance of Predicast by doing analysis on the forecasts of respective markets
