Stanley Deng is a Associate at Level Equity. Colleagues describe him as "While it is oftentimes difficult to measure corporate social responsibility, I am nevertheless writing to evidence Stanley’s remarkable volunteer contributions to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization StreetWise Partners! During session 4, each mentee switched mentor volunteer(s) with another mentee to receive guidance on his or her résumé’s format and bullet points, and I had the awesome luck of sitting down with Stanley that day. As the tried and true assurance associate he currently works as, he detected my résumé’s recurring past tense verbs and, since I was experiencing writer’s block, suggested powerful synonyms that existed in a domain outside the verbs provided in that session’s lesson material. With the added bonus of assisting me with clarifying the results and impact my résumé’s bullet points explained, Stanley helped me manage to land, not one, but two summer 2022 internship offers from different firms!
