I am a Renaissance man. My main job experience is in MVS mainframe computer operations, concentrating on the production control area and batch scheduling. On the other side of the coin is that after being a Foreman on a horse ranch in Nebraska for 2 1/2 years I rode broncs and bulls in rodeos for another eight years. I also spent eleven years in the U.S. Marine Corps (working on mainframe computers) and am currently in my fourth year in the Wisconsin Army National Guard with three deployments: one in Arizona with the U.S. Border Patrol and two tours in Iraq. Additionally I am also an Artist. I had my first show during Milwaukee's Gallery Day/Night in October of 2008. I carve pictures and portraits in oak boards (to include wedding and family portraits, animals, and rodeo events). What I am looking for is an opportunity in Management or as a Supervisor to use the skills I developed in fine tuning production batch processing in the same area or in another arena, such as in a manufacturing environment. I see it as the process of taking raw materials (i.e. data) running it through an efficient production process and turning out a complete and efficient end product. It usually is quite difficult for me to accept "the status Quo" because there is always something that can be done more efficiently or effectively ensuring a quicker turn around thus enhancing the viability of a company as well as having added value placed on its employees.Specialties: MVS Production ControlMVS Computer OperationsMVS Batch SchedulingComputer facility upgrade planning and executionData and physical securityPersonnel management, supervision and evaluations
