About Stanley Frey
A foundation of 40 years petroleum, petrochemical, and biofuels experience. My experience spans new unit startups, day-to-day operation, and development of refining and petrochemical process technologies. A total of 8 years in process unit advisory roles in over a dozen countries including startup and operational optimization. 30+ years in process development in refining, petrochemical, and biofuels including collaboration with other entities be they academic institutions, national laboratories, or other commercial companies. I have delivered new process technologies as well as numerous improvements to technologies across the Petroleum Refining, Petrochemical, and Biofuels sectors. I now also perform internal corporate consulting across all technologies in the above areas for development, design, and operations. My particular strengths are in applied experimental design, evaluating new concepts, cross-technology area invention, and market conceptualization and validation - all geared toward delivering technologies that are ready for commercialization. I have a passion for seeing concepts developed to commercialization be they large jumps forward, or incremental improvements - they all improve much needed sustainability. Inventor on 97 US patents.
