1. The main role of my position is to offer strategic Leadership to the organization by setting the long-term vision and strategic direction of the company this will entail identifying opportunities, understanding industry trends, consumption trends, products/ services and developing strategies to position the company for growth and competitive advantage. The position also has strong role in offering operational oversight by ensuring that the company's day-to-day operations are aligned with its strategic goals. 3. The chief executive officer is also responsible for financial management by overseeing the company’s financial health; including approving budgets, monitoring financial performance, managing risk, and ensuring that the company remains profitable while adhering to regulatory requirements.4. The role is also responsible for regulatory compliance by ensuring ensure that the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to solvency, reporting, and consumer protection.5. The CEO must ensure that the company has robust systems in place to assess, manage, and mitigate risks associated with underwriting, investment, operational, environmental as well as market risks.6. The roles also entail day today stakeholder communication: The role requires the CEO to act as the primary spokesperson for the company, communicating with shareholders, analysts, regulators, and the public. The role is mandated to ensure that relationships between the various stakeholders are well managed. The Role is responsible for setting the tone for company’s culture and values by leading by example and fostering a positive work environment.8. The CEO is required to anchor Innovation and Growth within the organization by showing leadership on investment in new product lines, exploring technological transformation opportunities, or pursuing strategic partnerships and acquisitions.

Chairman Of Kenya Railway Golf Club Board of Directors. The main Role supervision of management on day today running of the club, development and implementation of policies to guide management of the club, recruitment and management of key personnel, management of membership register and relationships, recruitment of new members, stakeholders management as well as engagement with external stakeholders.

The role entailed overseeing day today management of the club through the management team, supervising development projects, guiding human resource management and policy as well as deputizing the chairman when necessary.

The job entailed set up of the Bank's Insurance agency, product development, recruitment and development of a team, sales management, training of staff, set up of processes etc. the role also required relationship management particularly with customers, bank's staff as well as insurance companies.
