The opportunity to return to work for Myshak Crane & Rigging finally presented itself and I cannot be happier! I returned to assist with their Nova Chemicals Maintenance Turn Around for a few weeks on night shift. The TA went very well!Upon completion, I was given the opportunity to stay on and join the Crew at Forty Mile, Phase Two Wind Turbine Project. I couldn’t be happier, as I’m involved with Topping Out Turbines again. Only this time, I’m operating and learning a Tadano/Demag CC2800-2 in LSL+LF_3 Configuration.Thank You to any and all that helped me to stay working in the temporary positions between finishing with Xcaliber Crane & Rigging in February and starting here with Myshak Crane & Rigging!

This AT is rigged up for Blade Roll with a 5S Main Block in 6 Parts and a 1S Aux Block in 2 Parts. I haven’t run this configuration in an AT before, as I’ve been fortunate enough to previously be operating the Top Out Crawlers on the previous two Wind Turbine Construction sites I’ve assisted at. I am looking forward to being a part of my third Wind Farm Project assisting Mammoet & Borea at Paintearth. With Xcaliber Crane & Rigging scope of work wrapping up in early October, I continued through the winter as a Taxi Hand. Unfortunately due to lack of work and slower than anticipated start to 2024, I was laid off mid February. I am currently seeking work and available to start immediately.

Being brought back aboard with NCSG to help with the Spring Shut Down at Syncrude was a blast. Jumping around on a couple LR’s until settling down in the seat of an LR1160 with 362’ of Main/Luffer was exciting, lots of lifts and great coworkers! 6/1 schedule was likely the biggest downside as it’s a difficult schedule to stay on over any period of time, but the money was great!
