I am an mathematician and educator originally from Atlanta, Georgia and currently based in Durham, North Carolina. I received my Bachelors of Science in Mathematics with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2023 and completed a year of graduate coursework in mathematics and mathematics education at Duke University. Broadly, I'm interested in mathematics, mathematics education, and work at the intersection of mathematics and social justice. My scholarly research is in low-dimensional topology. I am hoping to transition to working with data and/or applied mathematics to solve real-world problems-- particularly those concerning justice, social/political issues, and education.
