Calibration TechnicianCalibrated and maintained electrical and electromechanical test equipment, acting as the head technician for all LCR meter jobs. Provided critical oversight and guidance to the engineering team on flat hardware design concepts, specification requirements and production/manufacturing strategies. Developed and implemented production workflows, sequences and processes for the fabrication of parts, components and sub/final assemblies. Managed project timelines and major tasks, as well as administered production and labor budgets, identifying cost control opportunities for new/existing product lines.  Established weekly team meetings and 30-min classes to review all hardware quality misses/mistakes, and brainstorm corrective actions/variation strategies for production improvement. Created an Excel-based scheduling tool to track hardware through production, prioritize jobs/assignments, and reduce overall cycle time.

Performed calibrations, function tests and inspections for temperature, general purpose and RF equipment, serving as a key subject matter expert to develop novel solutions to diverse operational/production challenges. Analyzed requirements and developed five new calibration procedures, in addition to implementing personnel training programs for electromechanical calibration and maintenance.  Designed multiple parts modifications to reduce project costs and cycle times, including modifying hotplates and temperature chambers, successfully increasing reliability, decreasing calibration time, and saving over $145K.  Helped make critical revisions to the power sensor station to increase accuracy.
