Automation Controls Engineer
• Prototype, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain semi and fully automated systems that includes: o PLC and HMI o Safety Relays and Controllers o Digital and Analog I/Os o RS-232, MODBUS RTU, Ethernet/IP (Explicit & Implicit messaging) o Vision system for feature detection and measurement inspection o Heat controllers for cut and seal o Stepper and Servo motors o 4-Axis SCARA and 6-Axis Robots o Pneumatic solenoids o Improving ergonomics for production operators o High-cost savings leading to a ROI within 3 years maximum• Create electrical and pneumatic schematics for controls and power distribution using AutoCAD Electrical • Design and draft electrical panel layouts for automation equipment• Prototype control portions for mechanical design • Write, document, and perform software validation to assist process engineer with machine qualification• Train operators and technicians to properly run automated system
