Executive Director Information Technology with more than 25 years of experience in the Life Sciences Industry. A leader with the technical ability to work as a member of the team but also successfully manage budgets of 10 million dollars and projects encompassing several millions of dollars of equipment and resources. Extensive experience in Infrastructure and Cybersecurity. The first 13 years were spent with a global clinical research company where the role evolved from systems administration to a director role leading a team of over 20 individuals, with global responsibility for networks and telecommunications. During this time, with support from leadership, I implemented the companies first information security program encompassing incident monitoring/response, forensics and intelligence gathering, to implementation of security infrastructure solutions and standards. The next 13 years were comprised of multiple small Biotech companies where the role encompassed Infrastructure, Cybersecurity as well as being the overall IT Lead responsible for service delivery, service desk and Computer systems validation. For 3 of those years, I took on a dual role that included being the Lead for Facilities for almost 60K Sq. Ft. of lab and office space. During the time with the smaller companies my experiences included implementing and supporting multiple models of IT infrastructure and support. This included on-premises infrastructure/IT, a hybrid model and a primarily outsourced model with pure cloud infrastructure.
