After 20+ years in high tech profession, I am turning a page of my life to become a psychotherapeutic counselor to serve people in the areas of relationship, family, marriage and career development. With lessons I have learned in my career and life, and with the passion I have had for people, I prayerfully hope that I can make a difference in people's life by genuinely caring and supporting them while they go through peaks and valleys in their life journey.In my high tech career at AT&T Bell Labs and Apple, I worked in the area of digital signal processing for audio, voice and image applications. I was specialized in exploiting characteristics of human perception in developing algorithms for these applications. Some of the contributions have been awarded by 26 US patents and published in professional journals and conferences. I also led an engineering team at Apple to develop state-of-the-art audio/voice processing technology to offer the best user experience in Apple products.
