Surveillance I worked as a surveillance team member by entering surveillance data in to the District Health Information Management Systems (DHIMS 2), analyzing health data into charts and graphs using Microsoft Excel. I also completed Case Based Investigation forms for Measles and Influenza-like Illnesses and prepared them for transportation to the Public Health Reference Laboratory. At the end of every month, I collated and entered reports on Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) into the District Health Information Management Systems (DHIMS 2). Municipal Cold Room Management I worked at the Municipal cold room where I took stock of Vaccines and EPI Logistics and monitored the Vaccine Refrigerator to make sure that Vaccines are kept at optimum temperatures. I also took charge of issuing Vaccines to Sub-District Health Facilities. Tuberculosis Case Management I worked at the Ketu South Municipal Hospital’s Chest Clinic where I guided Suspected Tuberculosis (TB) Cases to produce sputum for Testing, I created new folders for new cases, treated Confirmed TB Cases and conduct follow-ups.

I worked as a Research Assistant on a Tuberculosis Cohort Study. This study looked at the pathways to TB Diagnosis and Treatment and participants stayed in this study for 8 weeks. During this period, I recruited participants into the study and conducted interviews for them after they have produced sputum in the laboratory.I followed up fortnightly by phone interviews and home visits.
