My background is in Biomedical Engineering, obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Biomechanics and my Master's degree in Biomaterials from Wayne State University.I have a variety of experience in product engineering. As a development engineer at Zimmer Biomet, I worked on post-launch product lines for total knee arthroplasty. As an engineer at Takata, an automotive supplier, I worked to create modifications to current seatbelt and pedestrian safety devices, as well as developing these products for new model years. This involved regular communication with designers, plant engineers, and the customer. As a student, I worked with in the Wayne State Sled Impact Lab, performing impact testing for development on the Warrior Injury Assessment Manikin (WIAMAN) project.
