- Prototyped software and sensor capabilities for upcoming Surface products. Was responsible for innovating new ideas and implementing software to showcase potential features.- Worked directly with prototype hardware using serial ports on preview software.

- Developed a concept for a Windows Store application to intelligently manage a user’s day to day activities.- Created a Battleship game to demonstrate Wi-Fi Direct capabilities on the Lumia 2520 tablet.- Worked on Nokia Storyteller, a Windows Store application for the Lumia 2520 tablet. Added Flickr, Facebook, and Google Picasa integration. Helped optimize loading and displaying images.- Worked as the lead engineer designing and developing monitoring software to record temperature data for thermal engineers. This was integral in maintaining safe thermal thresholds for the Lumia 2520 tablet.- Developed a service for active ECC (Envelope Correlation Coefficient) testing. Interfaced with Qualcomm drivers to retrieve main antenna and diversity antenna readings. Ensured Verizon certification for the Lumia 2520 tablet.- Created a tool for AT&T to use in field testing. Communicated with the modem to retrieve cell tower information, signal strength, and other data required for certification on AT&T’s network.- Worked on an OMADM (Open Mobile Alliance Device Management) application for Verizon, allowing the carrier to configure certain carrier settings on the Lumia 2520.

- Worked on Mitchell’s currently ongoing electronic service delivery mechanism including client, server, and database portions.- Helped to deliver TDD training classes to other Mitchell employees. Was a key player in moving Mitchell from old waterfall processes to newer agile processes. Firm believer in unit testing and continuous integration.- Operated as the tech lead for a project to create a service for decoding VINs, vehicle equipment, and paint codes using multiple sources of vehicle data. Assisted and trained new developers and oversaw all aspects of the application development life cycle. Presented service to the entire company and supported integration into other Mitchell products.- Created a file storage web service and client for managing and storing all customer data via multiple cloud storage sources. Currently in use by all major applications at Mitchell.- Designed and maintained the authentication web service currently used by all Mitchell applications.- Worked as lead developer on Mitchell’s claims management application.- Assisted in the design and engineering of Mitchell’s next generation platform architecture. Duties included the generation of detailed design documentation, UML diagrams, custom class factory patterns, and stubbed prototypes. - Worked on fixing and optimizing legacy Mitchell architecture in order to improve overall backend system performance.
