I worked a one-month COVID crisis contract at a Level I trauma center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Night shift position at a Level III trauma center in Montrose, Colorado. It is a rural hospital with more limited resources than I had been used to. When COVID first began in March, 2020, I had just resigned for an additional 13 week. Amid much opportunity for greater compensation elsewhere, I completed the recently signed contract.

Responsible for the total care of patients in a highly complex, multi-disciplined Intensive Care Setting including adults and pediatrics. Patient populations include neurological injuries, trauma resuscitation, alcohol/drug withdrawal and respiratory failure. Specialty skill sets used include ACLS, PALS, NIHSS and CRRT.

Responsible for the total care of patients in the Medical Respiratory Intensive Care Unit at St Lukes Medical Center. Our patients are critically ill and require intensive monitoring, rapid interventions, and a tremendous ability to interact among different caregivers.
