During Luhr's ownership, Quality Built provided risk management and quality assurance services to the construction and home building industry, completing over 400,000 units in 33 states. More than 40 million quality checkpoints were collected on QB jobsites, eliminating more than $9 billion of risk.Luhr developed many programs for builders to improve quality, and gave lectures to promote process management, simplification of process and "simplified redundancy" of construction risks. His "Seven Deadly Sins of Construction" was promoted at national trade and insurance forums hundreds of times, and he became a sought after public speaker and trainer to national building companies, financial institutions and the largest insurance providers.
