CurrentOversee industrial policy development driving the development of Singapore's Digital Economy which is valued at ~17.3% of nominal GDP in 2022 and is one of the growth sectors for Singapore over the next decade- Primary policy owner for Singapore's AI industry development strategy, including overseeing part of the S$1billion investment under the National AI Strategy 2.0. Formulated economic policy positions on Singapore's AI industry development across the various archetypes of firms (MNCs, SMEs, Startups) and industries (Manufacturing, Financial Services, Air Transport, etc).- Developed the policy for Singapore's first sectoral AI Centre of Excellence with an initial investment that goes towards supporting the manufacturing sector to co-develop novel AI applications with the government that benefit the shopfloor - Coordinated and led the strategic planning function for Digital Industry Singapore (DISG), including economic assessments of projects ranging from S$10m to S$200m that benefit the broader digital economy- Formulate policy positions for Trust and Safety (e.g. scams, online harms) issues that impact technology and e-commerce platforms operating out of Singapore
