OK! Kimonos is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu apparel brand that focuses on having a friendly vibe. We embrace the fun part of training that encourages life-long improvement. There's a pervasive ultra-competitive attitude in messaging by other brands in this space and OK! Kimonos stands in the face of it. Training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu isn't a zero-sum game, it's a great art that promotes growth and humility.OK! Kimonos specializes in high quality gis. Each kimono is made with durable gold-weave fabric and uses 100% cotton. The design subtly combines the best features seen from the best gis available, as well as some distinct add-ons of our own. Each line leans towards using a higher weight cotton and reinforced stitching. The result is a gi that rolls great and lasts a long time. As the new owner, I do everything from inventory management and forecasting, down to help emails and packing orders.

• One of two engineers that developed the client and backend for Longview, a highly-available distributed Linux system-metrics collection product.• Started initiative for internal training. • One of the first support technicians for the company. Responsible for billing and technical customer queries via ticket system, email, and phone.• Created over 40 technical articles for the Linode Library, a technical resource for customers. Edited and reviewed over 200 articles by Library team members.• Wrote, produced, and edited a technical screencast for new users of Linode.• Represented company at technical conferences including YAPC, OSCON, USENIX LISA, and SXSW.

Worked with both children and adults on a regular basis. Organized and helped run two major events in the community including a school backpack giveaway with over 150 children. Upgraded and repaired network of computers throughout the two buildings. Uploaded media for website and helped plan a large television installation for the main area.
